STUDENT LEADERSHIP

STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL (S.R.C.)

The S.R.C. is a very important part of the College community. It is an active organization and makes an important contribution to all aspects of College life.
The S.R.C. has representation on College Council.
As part of ther SRC's role, the student body raises money for charitable causes and projects to benefit the school (and RSC students in particular).

The SRC will undertake fundraising for particular charities. Some will be supported from year to year and others adopted by one year's SRC.
Ongoing charities supported by the SRC include:
**
Jeans for Genes Day; **Anzac Day appeal; **State School Relief.

RSC student projects will be ones that broadly benefit the student body.
The SRC will often run events or projects that are not intended to raise money but rather benefit the student body: eg: Satay in the Courtyard; Stalls on Athletics Day; Musical Events at Lunchtime.

For 2009 our College Captains are
Kate Thompson and Ryan Swagemakers .

Their Vice-Captains are
Aaron Trevaskis and Kate Loveridge

These leaders were elected from a wonderful pool of talented young people. All students are to be congratulated on putting themselves forward to represent their College.
