CANTEEN NEWS

Our canteen at Rosebud Secondary College offers students and staff a wide range of nutritious and tasty, reasonably priced food and drink. With past experience of having run a gournmet cafe, canteen managers Morgen Brown and Mark Plumridge are able to offer a menu of high quality meal choices. Our menu is also fulll of healthy choices that comply with government regulations. Briefly these regulations divide the food and drinks into three categories, being green, amber and red. Green are foods and drinks that can be eaten every day, amber should be chosen once to every 3 green choices. Red foods will be available a maximum of twice a term but will not be offered for sale at the canteen on a regular basis.
	As well as food and drink our canteen also sells stationery, sunscreen, personal hygiene products, tissues, USB memory sticks, batteries and greeting cards. As always our prices are low so if there is something you need during the school day drop into the canteen or call us on 5986 8596 ext 247
Lunch Orders We encourage students and staff to whenever possible order their lunch either before school or at recess. There is a lunch order line at the canteen where orders can be quickly given and picked up. To encourage lunch ordering and healthy meal choices the canteen gives a raffle entry to all students who make a lunch order that includes a green food or drink choice. The raffle is drawn about once a month and first prize is a $30 Peninsula Surf Voucher. There are also prizes for 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
